A species of diminutive humanoids native to Tatooine, Jawas scavenge the deserts in search of lost druids, crashed starships, or discarded junk. With only their bright glowing eyes visible, Jawas wear long, brown robes with large hoods to protect them from the twin suns of their home planet. Jawas travel the wastes in giant, outdated sandcrawlers and speak in barely intelligible gibberish. They can offer real bargains in the junk that they repair, but are notoriously tricky and will swindle the unwary buyer.
